If there was any silver lining to the current pandemic, one could suggest that not being bombarded with daily updates on the Brexit negotiations would be one such event. However, it now seems that Brexit negotiations will soon rear its ugly head again. According to the press, negotiations are not going well and David Frost, Britain’s chief negotiator, has told the government to prepare for an Australian style departure, the governments code for trading on WTO terms from January.

We will be watching this space for further developments, although we find it difficult to comprehend that the government would wish to pursue a no-deal Brexit in the current circumstances.
